Having written a lot about the financial deregulation caused by the roll-out of the TTIP agreement, which is about to come into effect in the US, I was disappointed not to have been commissioned by the Financial Times to write a weekly column. However, I have received lots of calls from media organisations offering me jobs and so have decided to move. You can subscribe to Morning Edition online or to our iPad-only news app.
After meeting my new job application on Wednesday, I was offered my new position the following day and left for Washington to take over a new role at US Weekly as an assistant, with my replacement already onboard.
Now I am very excited to be living and working in the world of pop culture. It’s a great day for all journalists, when you see that at least one of us has won a very coveted job in the media.
